Run by multi-award winning body painter Julie Tattam, Skincognito is Sydney’s premier body painting supplier to the events, public relations, fashion, film, music and television industries, as well as private clients.
Why Skincognito is Australia’s leading body art provider
Skincognito have delivered successful body art campaigns for hundreds of Australia’s biggest companies over the last 10 years, so we know exactly what works and what doesn’t. We know what the media does and doesn’t respond to, we know which products work best under certain conditions, we know how backstage and shoots/productions work, we know how to give accurate time and cost estimates and where to source niche unique supplies. This knowledge takes years and hundreds of jobs to accumulate and we would love you to benefit from this experience.
Further, not only are we award-winning artists, but we have business degrees in marketing and finance, so we understand corporate objectives and where our branding clients are coming from. We have established a solid international reputation for being professional, reliable, well presented, and we pride ourselves on being authentic, friendly and easy to work with.
Finally, when you need to pull a creative team/solution together fast, it’s often a matter of “who you know”. Our strong trusted relationships in the modelling, photography, costume, hair and makeup industries means that we can pull together strong QUALITY creative teams for our clients at short notice.

Where are we located?
Our brand new state-of- the-art studio is located in Grays Point NSW (45mins south of the Sydney CBD) however we spend a large portion of our working time on location for our clients both in Sydney, interstate and internationally. We have a very portable on-location/on- set setup, so we are extremely flexible to travel, and in addition we have several support staff in each state so we are able to source high quality painting assistants, models and equipment locally for you.
Do we teach face/bodypainting?
NEWS: As of Feb 2024, after 12 years of running the popular Global College of Body Art and teaching over 800 students world wide, Julie is no longer running any face/bodypainting classes. In addition to Skincognito, Julie also runs a large homelessness charity, so she no longer has the time available to teach. We apologise for any inconvenience.
