Skincognito Policies

Booking Cancellation Policy

To secure a booking, we require a non-refundable, non-transferable 50% deposit. Any cancelled bookings, regardless of the date of cancellation, forfeit 100% of this deposit.

For high season dates (see below) we will only accept bookings upon prepayment of 100% of the booking fee. This is again non-refundable and non-transferable and any cancelled bookings, regardless of the date of cancellation, forfeit 100% of this deposit.

Skincognito has never cancelled an appointment in our 10 year history. However, if due to unforeseen issues an appointment is cancelled by Skincognito, we will give you the option of postponing to another date where this is feasible, or a full refund. Our liability for costs incurred due to appointment cancellations is limited to the booking fee.

High Season Dates:

  • Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Weekend
  • Halloween Weekend
  • All dates in December

Global College of Body Art Policies

To ensure the smooth running of the college, we have implemented the following policies:

Class Cancellation (by student)

All our classes are prepaid in full, 100% non-refundable and 100% non-transferable. Any cancellations or no-shows by the student, regardless of the date of cancellation, forfeit 100% of your payment.

Class Cancellation (by the college)

If a class is cancelled by the college, we will give you the option of transferring to another class, or a full refund. Our liability for costs incurred due to class cancellations is limited to the course fee only.

© Making Faces T/AS Global College of Body Art 2017

Copyright in any course notes, materials, teaching aids and verbally communicated course content, including but not limited to all graphics, images and text (hereafter referred to as “Course Materials”), which will be made available to you throughout the course, belongs to Julie Tattam and the Global College of Body Art. You agree not to modify, copy, reproduce, re-publish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, display or use in any way these Course Materials, or assist in the use of these materials by another party, without the prior written permission of Julie Tattam.
Any use of the Course Materials not expressly permitted in this Copyright Statement is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the copyright and other intellectual property rights of the Global College of Body Art and Julie Tattam.

Photography

Still photographs may be taken during class demonstrations (for personal use), but may NOT be displayed outside of the college, including social media. Photographs of our models must NOT be taken until the point in the class where Julie Tattam gives you permission. This ensures that no photographs of models are taken in a state of undress, without adequate paint coverage. Whilst the College cannot be held responsible for photos taken by students who choose to disregard this rule, we will take action against those students. At a minimum, these students will not receive their Certificate.

Video and Audio Recordings

The taping of our classes (either video or audio) is strictly forbidden. Still photographs may be taken during demonstrations (for personal use), but as above must NOT be displayed outside of the college. However NO video/audio recordings are permitted.

Liability Policy

The Global College of Body Art will not assume responsibility or liability for student’s or model’s personal or professional items damaged, lost or stolen during the course, or whilst on our premises. Further, we will ask all students and models to sign a waiver against liability for accident or injury whilst on our premises

Models Rights

We will strictly enforce our model’s rights to respect and personal space at the college. Please understand the vulnerability of our models due to their state of undress, and act with respect and consideration at all times. Anyone found disrespecting our models will be asked to leave.
