Become a Halloween Pro! This comprehensive, jam-packed 4 hour introductory class will teach you everything you will need to know to create amazing, horrific, realistic special effects for Halloween, photo-shoots or just for fun!
We will cover:
- what products and equipment to use (and what NOT to use)
- how to use them
- hygiene and safety
- techniques, professional tricks and how to make it look “real”
We will look at how to create realistic:
- cuts and gaping wounds
- various bleeding effects including blood squirting from wounds
- burns
- bruises
- vomit
- foaming at the mouth
- stitched, zipped and stapled skin effects
- old age effects
- facial hair
- zombie skin; and much, much more
You will know how to safely and correctly use (and remove):
- latex
- silicon
- adhesives
- cabosil
- wax and putty
- bald caps
- prosthetics
- bruise and injury wheels
- bloods
- synthetic hair
Because our class instructor (Julie Tattam) has years of experience in face/body painting and special effects, Julie is also able to impart along the way a range of practical tips and tricks. Students will come away knowing how to confidently create a range of the most popular effects, and will be positioned to make lots of income from this sought-after skill over the upcoming Halloween period.
Who is this class suitable for?
Ages: Over 14yrs.
Experience: None, suits absolute beginners as well as experienced makeup artists.
Equipment: All special effects equipment and materials are supplied – just bring a sense of adventure and a camera to record your gory creations!
